Terms of Service
StakeUp is a private accountability platform. Challenges are voluntary private agreements between participants. StakeUp is not a gambling, betting, or wagering service.
Use of the platform
You agree to use StakeUp only for lawful accountability challenges with people you know. You will not use the platform for prohibited content, gambling, or to coerce others.
Money
Contributions are processed via PayFast (sandbox during development). Funds are held until the challenge resolves; payouts are made to nominated recipients by EFT.
Refunds & disputes
If a challenge is cancelled before activation, all contributions are refunded. Disputes are handled through the in-app disputes flow, with admin arbitration as a backstop.
Liability
StakeUp is provided as-is. We are not responsible for the outcomes of your private challenges.
